Already a child prodigy, he demonstrated his innate musical talent from the age of three by studying the piano. Then, at the age of 8, he began studying the violin in which he graduated with full marks at the Conservatory of Music "N. Rota "of Monopoli under the guidance of Maestro Francesco D'Orazio.

Predominantly classically trained, an eclectic musician, he perfected himself following various advanced courses with Maestro Francesco D’Orazio, Cristiano Rossi, Corrado Romano and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg with Masters Yair Kless, Ruggiero Ricci and Igor Ozim.

During his course of study, his interest in Jazz Music led him to attend the course at the Conservatory of Monopoli and to brilliantly obtain his diploma in 2003 in the class of Maestro Gianni Lenoci. He is increasingly interested in applied music: he wins auditions and studies Composition for Film Music with M ° Luis Bacalov (Oscar winner for the soundtrack of "Il Postino") at the Chigiana Academy in Siena, resulting in course, also winner of a scholarship for merit. Thus he began to compose music for cartoons, documentaries, films and short films.

He studies and perfects his jazz writing by attending the summer seminars of Arrangement and Composition at Siena Jazz and the Clinics of the Barklee College of Music in Boston at Umbria Jazz.

He still carries out an intense compositional and arrangement activity, ranging from small ensembles to large symphonic and big band ensembles; his arrangements have been performed by Stochelo Rosenberg, Richard Galliano, Gregory Porter, Puglia Jazz Factory, Fabio Concato, Marco Bardoscia, Raffaele Casarano, Beppe Delre, Serena Brancale, Rita Marcotulli, Simona Molinari, Paolo Fresu, Dominique Dipiazza, Mala Waldron and many others.

He has carried out a lot of concert activity both as a chamber musician and as an orchestral and soloist, also playing in Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, England, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland.

He was first violin soloist of the Terra d'Otranto Orchestra for a decade with which he had the opportunity to perform in important television programs of the national networks accompanying Lucio Dalla, Edoardo Vianello, Pooh, Carmen Consoli, Renato Zero, Matia Bazar, Antonella Ruggiero, Gianna Nannini, Patty Pravo, Enrico Ruggeri, Dionne Warwick, Massimo Ranieri, Albano Carrisi, Cristian De Sica, Alexia, Paolo Belli, Gigi Proietti, Toquinho, Cecilia Gasdia, Serena Autieri, Ron, Gianni Morandi.

He also carries out an intense activity as an orchestra conductor, enjoying numerous successes from audiences and critics.

"Very fine arranger and conductor ...", so defined him the composer Ivan Fedele, Artistic Director of the Venice Biennale.

He has conducted and arranged numerous orchestral formations, including the "Tito Schipa" Symphony Orchestra of Lecce, the Magna Grecia Orchestra of Taranto and Potenza, the Metropolitan City Orchestra of Bari, the Lebanon Symphonic Orchestra of Beirut, the City of Prague Philarmonic Orchestra ……

Established in the field of classical conducting with a repertoire ranging from Classicism to the twentieth century,
he writes and conducts many projects for Symphony Orchestra ranging from classical music to pure symphonic jazz.

He is one of the few Italian composers to have written a concert for serpent and orchestra: entitled Inside, composed to re-evaluate this forgotten musical instrument, had, after its first performance (Matera, September 2013) conducted by the composer himself, a wide consensus of critics, including international ones: "Attractive Concert ....", this is how the concert has been defined by Douglas Yeo, famous performer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

He has published for Glissato Editions some works of arrangement and transcription by W.A. Mozart, L. van Beethoven, J. Massenet, Jelly 'Roll' Morton.

The latest recordings as conductor and arranger were published by Paolo Fresu's Tuk Music label: Medina, Raffaele Casarano's album, which he oversaw all the arrangements and conducting together of with the Ico 'Tito Schipa' of Lecce; Trigono, album of the BAM project (Bardoscia - Alborada Quartet - Marcotulli) and finally Around Tuk, album released with 'L’Espresso' or 'La Repubblica'.

He also graduated in Music Education with full marks at the Bari Conservatory of Music, and in Musical Instrument Education with full marks and honors at the “N. Rota ”of Monopoli.
